Technical condition monitoring of the bridge in Kostomlaty
The TwinBridge system enabled us to gain a clearer understanding of the current condition of the bridge in Kostomlaty. The main advantages of the system include fast installation and insights that conventional monitoring solutions cannot provide. It delivers unique data on the stress and behavior of key structural elements. In this case, we monitored stress in the steel beams and concrete deck, crack opening and closing during train crossings, and data on the current usage and remaining capacity of the bridge structure. The system supports more efficient maintenance planning and ensures the structural safety of the bridge.

Achieved results
The monitoring results confirmed that the bridge in Kostomlaty is structurally stable and reliable in the long term. Thanks to the collected data, the Railway Administration is assured of safe operation even when heavy train sets pass over.
